He Lives! It is Easter today and we have so much to be happy about because He Lives! He rose from the grave and lives. Today is a day we should reflect on what he did for us three days ago on the cruel cross.

Just a queation?  What does Spring mean to you? 

Spring to me is a time of new begins.  Beautiful flowers.

Allergies.  Ok that one isn't so great.  Please share with me what spring means to you.

Here is  a question? A statement!  Why is it that insurance companies won't insure someone who has a disablity of some kind and if they will they charge them an arem and leg for it.  It is those people who need the insurance.  What do you think about this?

Footprints

 

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was

walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky

flashed scenes from his life. For each scene,

he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,

one belonged to him, and the other to the Lord.

 

When the last scene of his life flashed before him,

he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed

that many times along the path of life there was only

one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at

the very lowest and saddest times in his life.

 

This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord

about it." Lord you said that once I decided to follow you

you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed

that during the most troublesome times in my life,

there is only one set of footprints.

I don't understand why when I needed you most,

you would leave me."

 

The Lord replied, " My child my precious child,

I love you and would never leave you. During your times

of trails and suffering, when you see only one set of

footprints, it was when I carried you."

 

 

This is my atmost favorite poem(story). It reminds me that when I am at my lowest the Lord is with me and even carrying me. He is alway with us.

He will  never leave you nor forsake you.

 

 

Snow glorious snow how long will it be here?  It is snow here in New Hamburg right now. The kids are so happy to see it. I wonder how long will it last. I kinda hope it's here to stay.

Here is something else I found kinda neat.

It is all about our needs.

 

If our greatest need had been information,

                                                                    

                                                                    God would have sent us an educator;

 

If our greatest need had been techology,

 

                                                                 God would have sent us a scientist;

 

If our greatest need had been money,

 

                                                              God would have sent us an economist;

 

If our greatest need had been pleasure,

 

                                                                God would have sent us an entertainer;

 

          But our greatest need was(is) forgiveness, so God sent us a Saviour.
